A good buddy of mine had one nearly identical to that one. Pretty shitty car, but man if we didn't have some adventures in it, one of which involved Denny's, a knife, a rope, a truck for sale, and the police. (Nothing illegal or wrong, just a very funny turn of events)

Well, my friend and I were driving around, getting ready to hang out with the girl he was seeing at the time. Anyways, this was in early November 2009, just after Halloween, around 10pm, and I have a bigass zombie mask in the car, as well. We pick up the girl, and go to drive by a truck he's looking to buy, a 2005 Chevy Colorado. (He bought a different truck the following week). Anyways, as we are getting out to look at the truck, the passenger side door panel falls off, in the seat I'm sitting in. We can't close the door. So, we call the police, at the request of my friend, and explain. Now, the place where the truck was sitting was closed, so the officer had all kinds of questions of why we were there, and why we had a big mask. We explained it all, they told us, just hold the door shut while we go down the road, which I did, with the window open, which was so fucking cold. We had rope to tie it up but it was too long, and we had nothing to cut it with, so we went to mcdonalds and asked to borrow a knife. They said no. We walked across the street to Denny's, and asked to borrow a knife, and after some convincing, they let us, so we walk back across the street, cut the rope, tie the door up, and return the knife. End of adventure.
